Bowness

Bowness was our first project. We took a semi-detached 1972 duplex and fully renovated the property. We house hacked during this renovation, living upstairs while we renovated, and then moving downstairs to put the finishing touches on the suite as we tenanted the upstairs. We purchased the property for $317,000, put $25,000 into renovations and the valuation came back at $390,000 5 months later. The property cash flows well as we receive $1,300 + utilities upstairs & $1,175 + utilities downstairs.
